Confirmed reports coming out of Addis Ababa reveal a land dispute between local authorities and Muslim worshippers at a Mosque in the district of Kaliti turned violent, which left 20 Muslim worshippers wounded in the fiasco.

Local media based in the capital say Federal Police began attacking and chasing worshippers in the periphery of the Mosque with batons and clubs, which forced to defend themselves in a bid to fend off the attack. The worshippers where no match for the security forces (federal police) which caused the worshippers to suffer the brunt of the carnage.

Apparantly the dispute emerge after local authorities accused the worshippers of having there Mosque on land that belonged to the Government, which sparked the Violant incident. A total of 20 worshippers where hurt in the clashes. The mosque suffered no damages according to local media reports.
