Halgan Media correspondents based in Eastern Ogaden reveal deadly clashes between Clan militias erupted outside the city of Wardheer in the Mir Khalifo district situated in Doolo province.
Ten people have been confirmed dead as a result of an intense firefight between two warring clans. The deceased victims are said to be from the rival militias that engaged in the clashes. The regional administration based in the capital Jigjiga is yet to address the deadly clashes, which left nearly a dozen dead.
Doolo province has been rocked by Clan tension in recent months, which has led to violence on many occasions. The latest spat of killing are expected to only exacerbate the already tense clan dynamics in the province.
