Confirmed reports received from the Ogaden reveal a bomb blast occurred tonight at a restaurant in the city of Dhagaxmadow in Jarar province. Leading to the deaths of four people and five others that where wounded in the explosion but left in critical condition.
Halgan Media correspondents on the ground say a blast occurred tonight at a packed restaurant. The explosion was a result of young children in the vicinity of the restaurant that where playing with an explosive ordanance, which subsequently exploded. Once the smoke cleared four where dead and five others laying wounded in a pool of blood.
The deceased victims include a pregnant mother and her three children that where killed by the impact of the explosion, which died instantly as a result of being struck by shrapnel. The conditions of those wounded in the explosion is said to be critical condition and life threatening.
Neither the local administration in the city of Dhagaxmadow and the Regional Government for the Somali Regional State (Ogaden) based in Jigjiga is yet to comment on this latest incident.
