Suspected Al Shabaab assassins gunned down an Intelligence overnight in the Somali capital Mogadishu, before fleeing the scene on foot. The assassination occurred in the city’s Bakara Market shortly after Magrib prayer.
Sources reveal the suspected militants opened fire and struck the intelligence officer with a hail of bullets, striking him in the upper torso. The Intelligence officer died instantly from his wounds.
Reliable sources that spoke with the Halgan Media service desk on the condition of anonymity have identified the victim only by his nickname, which is Canjeex.
