Ethiopian troops arrest civilians in Barmil

Confirmed reports received from Nogob province reveal Ethiopian military contingents and there associated militia’s engaging in mass detentions of civilians.

Local contacts have informed Halgan Media that Ethiopian troops have illegally detained and imprisoned scores of civilians overnight in the town of Barmil. The victims where subsequently transferred to an Ethiopian military camp in the vicinity of the town.

The current wellbeing of these individuals remains unknown at the moment. Halgan Media has received the names of two victims, which are listed below.
