Secretary General of the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) Abdirahman Mahdi and the Foreign secratary of the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) Ahmed Yasin held a meeting in Brussels, Belgium with officials from the European Union.
Ahmed Yasin and Abdirahman Mahdi of the ONLF engaged in discussions with officials of the European Union, discussing a wide arrange of topics. The dialogue was mainly focused on the change taking place in the Horn of Africa, particularly the Ogaden.
Both sides also discussed the importance of the agreement that was signed in Asmara, Eritrea two weeks ago between the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) and Ethiopian Government. A key topic discussed that was revealed by the Ogaden News Agency (ONA) was the return and resettlement of refugees to the Ogaden. The European Union officials thanked the ONLF delegates for attending the meeting in Brussels and vowed to do there part.
