A delegation of the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) arrived in the city of Wardheer in the eastern Ogaden’s Doolo province. The delegation meet with traditional elders from the area.

An array of topics where discussed concerning Doolo province according to a report published on the Ogaden News Agency (ONA).

The arrival of the delegation comes as a tense situation continues to simmer in Doolo province, following the appointment of a new Governor whose affiliated with the Ex President Abdi Iley. The appointment of the new Governor has led to condemnation by many in Doolo province and outright backlash against the Criminal Regime based in Jigjiga.

The negative sentiment surrounding the issue has led to public out cry and many cases protests, which ensued into clashes due to the violent crackdown by the Liyuu Militia. The ONLF delegation arrival in Wardheer was reportedly due to ease the tension and show solidarity with the people of Doolo province.
