Confirmed reports reaching the Halgan Media service desk reveal Oromo Militants launched a cross border raid targeting the village of Gabagabo, which sits outside the strategic Somali border town of Tuliguuleed in Fafaan province.
Local contacts reveal the Militants looted 6 camels and 25 cattle at gun point from the unarmed and defenseless Somali villagers, that had no choice but to flee. No casualties where reported but many families began abandoning there homes in the village of Gabagabo shortly after the cross border raid.
The Ethiopian troops stationed in the vicinity of the incident stood by and simply looked on as the Somali civilians where stripped of there livelihood (which is there livestock). This is not the first time Ethiopian troops have sided ith invading Oromo Militants against Somali civilians. Similiar cases have been reported throughout the Ogaden-Oromo border region in recent years.
