Confirmed reports received from the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia reveal local authorities have seized a vehicle laden with explosives en route to the city of Mekele.
The TPLF Junta and the local administration have seized 425 types of explosive material, weighing an estimated 75 kilograms. Authorities in the northern enclave claim to have seized vehicles laden with explosives on three separate occasions with the month in the Tigray region, entering from the neighboring Amhara and Anfar regional states.
The ousted TPLF Junta which is currently isolated in Northern Ethiopia accuses outside forces of attempting to destabilize the region. TPLF Junta was ousted form power earlier this year due to a three year long uprising and Anti government protests, subsequently ending there 27 year rule.
