24 hours after violent clashes came to a halt in the city of Wardheer, more detailed information has come to emerge in the midst of the mass arrests and violent crackdowns that took place yesterday.
Following the chaos that plagued much of Wardheer yesterday, local residents reveal the situation has settled for the time being, while dozens still remained held under arbitrary detention at the hands of the violant government backed paramilitary militia forces known as the Liyuu Police.
Local contacts have been able to confirm a total of 74 people still remain languishing in jails and detention centers throughout the city following the violent crack down that took place yesterday. Furthermore sources where also able be to verify 16 people are currently hospitalized receiving treatment at various makeshift health localities in the city.
The violant onslaught targeting civilians erupted yesterday after hundreds of people poured into the streets protesting against the Junta based in Jigjiga led by Mustafa Omar (Cagjar). The Junta than aired Liyuu Paramilitaries to crack down in peaceful protesters which left scores wounded and dozens arrested.
