Confirmed reports received from the Ogaden reveal 15 civilians where arrested in the town of Qamuda in Doolo province. Upon being detained, the victims where transferred 35 kilometers away to a Liyuu Police outpost (base) in the town of Yucub according to eyewitnesses.
Local residents that spoke with Halgan Media on anonymity reveal the violent round up and subsequent arrest of these victims was completely unprovoked and grotesque. The victims are currently being held under arbitrary detention in the nearby town of Yucub, while there well being remains unknown.

The Liyuu Police originally formed in 2008 as a counter insurgency unit, is a notorious paramilitary force which has been implicated in numerous war crimes and crimes against humanity by rights groups and the international community. The massive round of civilians today in Qamuda, will only add to there list of crimes in the occupied Somali territory of Ogaden.
