Clashes between clan militias erupted in the town of Qamuda in Doolo province. Local residents in the town of Qamuda have confirmed to the Halgan Media service desk that one person was killed in the violent confrontation.
The victim has been identified as Hassan Aden Ummi, a prominent local resident. The town of Qamuda itself has been the scene of clashes and skirmishes between rival clans in recent months.
However, Doolo province in particular has seen an uptick in violent quarrels and clashes between various clans in the past few months. The town of Qamuda along with Galaadi, Yucub, Wardheer and Lahelow have all been flashpoints. The provincial administration overseeing Doolo province is yet to intervene, let alone address these reoccurring Clan fueled killings in the region.
