Clashes erupted this evening in villages outside the border town of Tuliguuleed in Fafaan province between local Somali pastoralists and Oromo paramilitary militias according to local residents.

Simultaneous assaults targeting six Somali inhabited villages outside the border town of Tuliguuleed led to fierce fighting, which left three Somali villagers dead and two others villagers wounded.

The strategic Somali border town of Tuliguuleed, which sits on the volatile Ogaden-Oromo border has been under siege for past several months by Oromo militias and allied paramilitary forces with full backing of the OPDO Junta in Addis Abana.
