President Isaias Afwerki of Eritrea has arrived in Ethiopia for a two day visit. This comes a day after the Italian Prime Minister visited Ethiopia.
According to Fitsum Arega, who is the chief of staff to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, today’s visit by the Eritrean President is meant to further bolster relations between both countries.
In July of this year, both Ethiopia & Eritrea signed a peace deal, which end a long standing Cold War like conflict and border dispute.
