Confirmed reports received from the Ogaden reveal the Ethiopian military have killed a man in rural town in Shabeele province. The incident occurred in the town of Elele.
Reporters reveal the victim’s name is Aabi Cabdiwahab Xussen. The victim is said to be an older aged man and father. Aabi Cabdiwahab Xussen was killed while walking near an oil well on the outskirts of the town of Elele by Ethiopian soldiers.
Aabi’s shocking death isn’t the first of its kind in Ogaden. Over the past few years, more civilians in Ogaden have been getting killed by Ethiopian military contingents and there associated militia’s if they venture near sites or facilities affiliated with foreign led oil endeavors taking place in the region.
