Confirmed reports reveal five people where mercilessly killed at a wedding in Ethiopia’s Oromo regional state in the southern Borana province after Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) began indiscriminately opening fire at a wedding reception.
According to the Oromo branch of the BBC services, the incident occurred in the town of Hidi Lola in Borana province. It’s still hasnt been determined what caused the Ethiopian troops to open fire at civilians gathered together for a wedding reception but what’s for is that five people where laying in a pool of blood when the gun shots ended. The five people viciously killed in cold blood include the bride and groom who where at the venue getting married before being slaughtered by Ethiopian troops.
The federal government of Ethiopia and the Oromo Regional State, which are both run by the OPDO Junta are yet to comment on this latest blood bath. The Oromo regional state in Ethiopia has been plagued by violence an unprecedented level of violence in recent months as large swaths of territory in the Oromo Regional State in Ethiopia remain lawless and out of government control as paramilitary forces and militia groups with varying political and religious ideologies dominate large sectors of the Oromo region.
