Confirmed reports received from the Ogaden reveal fierce fighting has erupted between the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) and Liyuu Police militia.
Clashes erupted near the locality known as Naasa Habloodada, which is in proximity to the town of Shiniile near the city of Dhanaan in Shabeele province. Casualties in regards to this battle are not yet clear as more information continues to come in.
The Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) has been waging an armed struggle against the Ethiopian military and its associated militia’s since 1994 with aims to liberate the Ogaden from Ethiopian occupation.
