Local contacts reveal a massive movement of paramilitary forces from the neighboring Afar regional state outside the Somali border town of Alaale in Sitti province. The paramilitary units where spotted in multiple Toyota pick up trucks just a few kilometers outside the town.
Eyewitnesses have confirmed the sighting of Afar paramilitary forces mid afternoon today, in a phone call made to the Halgan Media service desk. Locals reveal many of the town’s residents are fearful for there lives knowing there under equipped and out gunned to repel any form of attack from the violent Paramilitaries and militia groups currently stationed outside the town.
The border town of Alaale is home to mainly rural pastoralists. Many of the towns residents have fled into the nearby bushes, fearing an attack might be imminent. It was just 48 hours ago when Afar paramilitary forces and allied militias attacked the town of Alaale and wounded Four civilians during the violent onslaught.
Oncr again, the Criminal Regime based in Jigjiga, led by Mustafa Cagjar continues to ignore the plight of Somalis in the border region of Sitti province. Sitti province which shares its Western border with the neighboring Afar Regional State and its Eastern border with the Oromo Regional State has been besieged by violent paramilitary militias for the past several months. Still no word from the Regime led by Mustafa Cagjar.
