Massive protests erupt in the city of Jigjiga in Fafaan province as hundreds of youth pour into the streets protesting against the Ethiopian regime and the puppet administration led by Abdi Iley.
Scores of youth where arrested in the midst of the protest and subsequently thrown in jail. Since early April protests have erupted across the Ogaden at unprecedented levels. The bulk of the protests mainly taking place in Shiniile province with sporadic protests erupting in the city of Qabridahare in Qorahay province and other localities in Libaan province.
The Ethiopian backed puppet administration which illegally presides over the Ogaden has been heavily pressured as Anti regime sentiment sweeps across the nine provinces in Ogaden. We will keep you updated with the latest developments and updates from the region.
