Roadside Bomb Blast In Somali Capital

A bullet proof vehicle traveling through the Hodan district of Mogadishu struck a roadside bomb at the Tarabuunka junction.

Eyewitnesses that spoke with Halgan Media reveal the roadside bomb was buried on main road linking the DEVA hospital at the busy Tarabuunka junction.

It’s not clear who was the individual(s) in the bullet proof car during the explosion, however it’s been revealed a Rickshaw driver in the vicinity of the blast site was seriously wounded after being struck by shrapnel from the roadside bomb.

The rickshaw was rushed to an undisclosed Mogadishu area hospital after sustaining serious injuries. Following the blast, Somali government troops and police units arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
