Reports reaching Halgan Media from the Ogaden reveal Ethiopian troops have arrested scores of civilians in the town of Imay Galbeed in Afdheer province.
Local contacts revealed Ethiopian military contingents detained and arrested five civilians, subsequently transferring the victims to a local jail in the vicinity of the town.
Arbitrary detentions and mass abductions are an unfortunate reality plaguing the civilian population at the hands of the Ethiopian military as thousands of civilians remained illegally imprisoned throughout the Ogaden.
