Authorities in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa have seized more than 7.6 million birr (Ethiopian currency) and $53,000 US dollars from illegal foreign exchange dealers according to the state owned FANA media outlet.
The Addis Police commission stated that this seizure was a result of illegal foreign exchange dealers that where operating in the capitals black market.
Over the past few months there’s been a massive seizure of contraband in Addis Ababa and throughout the country. Which include currency, weapons and drugs.
