A blast from an IED ripped through a crowded restaurant in the Ceelwaaq district in the Gedo region of Somalia, according to eyewitnesses
Eyewitnesses reveal spotting the bodies of two deceased individuals on the floor following the deadly blast. Scores of guests immediately fled in the aftermath of the blast.
Security forces arrived at the restaurant shortly after the blast and carried away six wounded people along with the two deceased individuals.
The area was cordoned off by security forces afterwards and a preliminary investigation followed suit according to local administrative officials that spoke to Halgan Media.
