Kenyan fighter jets launched a series of strikes targeting Somalia’s Lower Jubba province. Local contacts informed the Halgan Media service desk the area that come under aerial bombardment is sparsely populated and mainly home to rural pastoralists.

Sources reveal smoke was billowing over the skies following the strikes. The number of casualties or injuries from these latest KDF strikes remains unknown for the time being.

The Kenyan Defense Force (KDF) routinely conducts strikes indiscriminately targeting civilians in southern Somalia’s Jubba valley and Gedo province under the guise of the US led war on terror being waged in the country.

The  autonomous Jubaland regional state is yet to comment on this latest incident. The UN backed central government based in Mogadishu has also once again failed to address these wanton war crimes unfolding in the country.

We will keep you updated with the latest developments from the region.
