A series of cross border raids targeting the farming villages of Usweyne and Feedhcaad in the Faafan province of the Somali regional state left scores of Somalis dead and wounded according to local residents.
Eyewitnesses reveal armed Oromo militiamen launched an assault on both farming villages shortly after Midnight, which caught the locals off guard.
Two Somalis where shot dead in a hail of bullets, per eyewitnesses. Those wounded in the heinous attack, numbering a total of three are currently languishing at a makeshift medical clinic in the nearby Somali border town of Tuliguuleed.

The Somali farming villages of Usweyne and Feedhcaad are situated in the periphery of the Somali border town of Tuliguuleed in Faafan province, which is situated 25 kilometers north of the capital city of Jigjiga.
This stretch of land in particular has been relentlessly besieged for a number of years by Oromo paramilitary groups and allied ethnic Oromo militias, which have intensified over the past five years, with the sole purpose of annexing Somali territory, that has resulted in the killing and displacement of countless Somalis.
