Confirmed reports reaching the Halgan Media service desk from the Somali border town of Tuliguuleed in Fafaan province reveal Oromo Militants have launched a cross border attack targeting the nearby village of Sandacare. 

According to local contacts, heavily armed Oromo’s brandishing Klashnikov assault rifles attacked pastoralists in the village of Sandacare this afternoon and looted 23 cattle. No Somalis where hurt in the attack according to locals that witnessed the incident. 

The border town of Tuliguuleed and the surrounding villages sit at strategic point on the vast yet volatile Somali-Oromo border, which has made it a prime target for Oromo Militants as a result of there expansionist ambitions.
