A fatal police involved shooting unfolded overnight in the city of Goday in Shabelle province. The victim whose said to be a male was gunned down in a hail of bullets according to eyewitnesses.
Residents reveal the incident occurred in the midst of the night. However what led to the shooting remain sketchy as contradicting accounts of what really occurred continue to surface.
The victim has been identified as Amir Jawhar Cabdullahi according to local residents that spoke with the Halgan Media correspondents based in the city of Goday.

Administrative authorities in Goday are yet to comment on the latest police involved shooting. In recent weeks police and state sanctioned human rights violations have been on the increase in the Ogaden.
The pseudo president Mustafa Omar (Cagjar) is to address the growing and disturbing trend of violence unfolding against constituents in his jurisdiction.
