It’s not clear which foreign actor was behind the recent wave of air strikes in Somalia, however suspicion lies with the United States and to a lesser extent there Kenyan counter parts.
AFRICOM, which oversees US military operations in Africa that includes the US bombing campaign in Somalia is yet to address the growing accusations that there forces where involved in the deadly overnight air raid that indiscriminately targeted civilians.
The same goes for the Kenyan Defense Force (KDF) who are part of the US led coalition in Somalia and have been carrying out air strikes and out right war crimes in the country, since there I’ll-fated invasion of Somalia a decade ago. Just like the Americans, they’ve too have been implicated in the latest wave of air strikes in Somalia that massacred civilians.
