US trained Somali special forces, commonly referred to as Danab carried out a mass abduction on the outskirts of Mogadishu according to reliable sources that reached out to the Halgan Media service desk.

Sources reveal 15 vehicles carrying masked gunmen wearing military attire swept down on a home in the vicinity of the impoverished Ceelasha Biyaha district outside Mogadishu.

Upon entering the home, the troops detained two women, including a pregnant women. Shortly afterwards both victims where violently dragged outside by the masked gunmen and rushed into a vehicle with tinted windows.

The elder of the home who was returning back from a nearby mosque came across the commotion involving the Danab forces and the women at his residency. He than was detained and whisked away into the same vehicle as his spouse and the pregnant women, whose believed to be a family member.

Sources that spoke with Halgan Media on condition of anonymity have identified the male victim as Abdullahi Ahmed. The current whereabouts and well being of Abdullahi and the two other women remain unknown at the moment.

Its not clear what led to the raid on the home, however the US trained Somali special forces routinely conduct counter terrorism operations. Therefore have a notorious reputation for carrying out abductions and in many cases extrajudicial killings.
