Confirmed reports received from the Ogaden reveal a young girl has died from measles in the town of Qubbi in Nogob province.
Local contacts reveal a 15 year girl by the name of Nuura Xaashi died this morning from the disease known as Measles. The young girl was buried later in the afternoon by residents and family members.
In recent weeks there has been an unprecedented measles outbreak in the town of Qubbi and the surrounding areas, which has affected many people, mainly women and children.
