Halgan Media correspondents based in Fafaan province reveal Ethiopian troops opened fire on a mini bus overnight traveling on the volatile road between Jigjiga and Harar.

Correspondents have confirmed to the Halgan Media service that mini bus was lit up with bullets from Ethiopian troops as it traveled in the periphery of Bambas border town.

It was unclear why the Ethiopian troops opened fire on a bus packed with civilians. Eyewitnesses say the aggression from the Ethiopian troops was completely unprovoked.

At least one person has been killed, while scores are feared wounded. Halgan Media correspondents have been able to obtain the name of the victim, which is listed below.
