HAPPY 8th ANNIVERSARY TO OYSU
OYSU is a name of organization that Stands for Ogaden Youth and Student Union Wich is well respected organization in the Somali Community as a whole especially the Somali in the Ogaden region.
This organization of the Youth OYSU is a well known organization that operates all over the world wherever there is a Somali Community and at the Same time represent the oppressed people of the Ogaden and today is in the 8th years.
Before 2010, the youth of ogadenia were spread all over the world and they had a connection where ever they were.
The youth Created an organization in order to know each other.
The youth as a whole were united and had one aim but had a different names of associations like OSF,OSFSA, OYN, ONA,SOYA and other names.
After it was realized the benefits and the productivity of the youth there was a need of uniting all the names of the association into one name one organization that is with their people and have their goal of getting independence . It is decided to have the appropriate name of the association. After many meetings of the board in order to build a united name. It followed big conference that took place in Europe where the organization OYSU was formed in the year 27-06-2010. At this particular time a system and a plan was formed for the organization and the same time elected a leader whose name is Mr, Mujaahid Sheikh Ibrahim.
There after, the OYSU started to move Forward with their power and strength. And it has shown it is Capability. so within a short period of time OYSU shone in the globe/world.
OYSU used it is energy, wealth and brain to tell the history and the culture of Ogadenia and always report new incidents of what is happening in the region. So OYSU became the best of those who are always looking for the right and the existence of the people of Ogadenia.
After three years the big Conference of OYSU was held in USA and there the organization`s time/period was valued since it is formation. And they a chieved very many successes. There was on election of a new leader and again mr, Mujaahid Sheikh was once again elected. but after some time a top leader was elected mr, Jamaal xukun.
Like wise after three years, the third big conference was held in Europe and the Current administration was built where it is leader is mr, Shilaabo Sheikh Abdi with a different way of administration in two years.
