A Toyota style military pick up truck carrying Somali government troops struck a roadside bomb a few moments ago while traveling through the volatile Lower Shabelle province of Somalia.
According to eye witnesses, the military truck was traveling on the road that links the Ceelasha Biyaha district to the Afgooye district and struck a roadside bomb as it entered the Hanna-Dheer junction, which connects the above mentioned districts.
The subsequent blast from the IED, caused the military truck to explode and become completely engulfed in flames, with smoke spotted billowing from the blast sight.
